mark luiQ – I got PDF files from one of my friends to read them. I thought to print these files and kept with me. But I was unable to do it and I got the message “PDF file is protected and cannot be used for this command” Is there any solution so that I can print these files?
This type of error occurs when some restrictions are put on your PDF documents. If you are unable to print your PDF docs, you need to remove the security from these files. Apart from this, there is no solution to print the restricted PDF documents.

- Open Adobe Acrobat Pro application
- Open the secured PDF if it contains any password
- Click on File option and then on Properties
- Select the Security tab and choose no security to remove the security
- After that save the file
I don’t have Adobe Acrobat with me. Is there any other method to remove print restriction from PDF file without Adobe Acrobat?
