Q – I upgraded my Outlook Express and now I am unable to open the attachments. I have checked for the reasons behind this but didn’t find any solution for this. If anyone has any solution then please provide it here. All the suggestions are welcomed.

There could be some issues to your Outlook Express client. You need to check these settings in Outlook Express –

  • Go to Outlook Express
  • Go to Tools > Options > Security tab > Uncheck

These settings must be unchecked as it blocks images or other HTML content that could contain a virus.

You can check for the free disk space. There may be errors in opening attachments due to insufficient disk space.

You can check for the security issues and uncheck ‘do not allow attachments to be saved or opened that could potentially be a virus.’ Hopefully, this will help you to open the attachments in Outlook Express.
