Q – I got 500+ contacts in CSV file from my client and now I want to import these contacts in Mac Mail. Is there any easy solution available by which I can import these contacts to Mac Mail in a simplified manner? If anyone has the solution, kindly share here.

  • Name the group
  • Select the address book where you want to import your contacts
  • Go to File > Import

I found another manual solution where you can export your contacts to Gmail account and later on configure your Gmail account in Mac mail. This will help you to move multiple contacts to Gmail at a time and then configuring Gmail id in Mac Mail.

I have the same question. I am also looking for a solution. I have used the above discussed manual method but it seems to be quite lengthy and I am unable to find it comfortable. Is there any other solution available?

You can export CSV files into VCF format and later on move VCF file to Mac Mail. As VCF file format is applicable everywhere so you can simply access VCF file in Mac Mail.

Can you please elaborate the process to export CSV files into VCF format?

Lainey

You can simply use CSV to VCF Converter third-party tool that will rapidly convert CSV file into vCard format and then you can import VCF into Mac Mail. The tool will simply export all the contacts from CSV to VCF in an eye blink. A very simplified and easy handling application. Get the link of the application for more information about it –

I followed the above method and got my CSV files converted into VCF format. Now, how can I import the VCF file into Mac Mail?

Just go to Mac Mail and choose Contacts > Preferences > Click VCF file and VCF file is successfully imported in Mac Mail Address Book.
