Q – I want to download my Yahoo emails and want to store a backup of my important emails on my hard drive so that I can move my Yahoo emails to Thunderbird later as I am planning to move to Thunderbird client in future. You can simply configure your Yahoo account to Thunderbird using the given below steps –

  • Open Mozilla Thunderbird
  • Click on create an account section
  • Click on Email
  • Enter your Yahoo id and password
  • Choose IMAP setup option
  • Set Incoming Mail Server and Outgoing Mail Server
  • Once you are done with the configuration, click Re-test
  • Click Done
