Q – Yesterday, I got a PDF file secured with a password. It contains data in tabular format so I thought to move it to Excel so that it becomes easy to understand it and it will look presentable. I don’t know the procedure to convert PDF file to Excel. Is there anyone who can help me by suggesting the solution of this query?

Kimberly

Hi, in my opinion, there is no direct method available that can convert the protected document to Excel. First, you need to unlock your PDF file. Only then, you will be able to convert PDF to Excel .xlsx format.

Kayla

You need to change the secured PDF to unsecured by Adobe Acrobat Pro and later on, you can perform the conversion of PDF file to Excel.

There is an automated solution also available to remove security from PDF document. I have tried Softaken PDF Unlocker tool once a while and the software work perfectly for me by unlocking my PDF file in few seconds without affecting the original files.
