Q – I am using Outlook email client and all my files are protected with a password. Once, when I tried to open the files, I won’t be able to open the files. Can anybody please help me out to recover my Outlook files.

Izaiah

As Outlook stores data in OST and PST file format. You said you have protected your files with a password and you are unable to open these files now. It means you need to recover your OST or PST file.

Conrad

If you are a Mac user, you have stored your data in OLM file format. First of all, please tell which platform you are using so that accordingly, we will suggest you the solution.

Zeke Briggs

Hi, I am using Windows platform. Can you please suggest the method to recover my Outlook files?

Marcelo

I think your files are corrupt and that’s why you are unable to open them. You need to repair your files. You can try the manual methods to repair your files.

Axton Zain

Try Microsoft Inbuilt Scanpst.exe tool and can simply repair your files with this method. I hope it will work for you.

Stetson

You can try an alternate solution i.e. pst19upg.exe that can simply remove password from PST file without support of an extra tool.

Abdiel

Thank you for the suggestion but being a non-technical person, I am unable to understand the methods. Can you please suggest some other quick and efficient solution?

Kristopher Joe

If you are facing trouble with the manual methods. You can simply try third-party application that will help you to recover your Outlook files. Outlook Recovery Tool is simple to use so that it can be handled by any non-technical user and perform swift recovery of Outlook files without any issues. I hope this will prove to be useful for you.
