Q – I have multiple contacts saved in Excel file whom I want to move to my current email client i.e. Lotus Notes. I am unable to move Excel contacts to Lotus Notes because I don’t know the procedure for it. Is there anyone who knows the procedure, please share here. Thank you in advance.
There is no direct method available to convert Excel contacts into Lotus Notes. As Excel saves contacts in CSV file format, you need to first convert CSV to VCF and then import VCF into Lotus Notes using the manual method.
I don’t know how to convert Excel contacts from CSV to VCF. Can you please tell me the steps to move Excel contacts into VCF file?
Follow the given steps to move Excel to CSV Conversion –
- Launch Excel Workbook
- Click on Office button and then Save As > Other formats
- Choose CSV in Save As Type and click Save
- A message will be displayed, click ok
- One more message will appear, click yes
Later on, import CSV file to your system and export it into VCF format.
There is no need to move CSV file into a vCard file as you can directly import CSV file into Lotus Notes client.
I am unable to perform the conversion using any of the manual methods being a non-technical user. Can you please suggest any other solution for the same conversion?
Try Excel to vCard Converter application that will simply move Excel contacts to VCF and after that, it becomes simple for the users to export VCF file into Lotus Notes client. Here is the link for you – https://www.softaken.com/excel-to-vcard-converter
