Q – I need to migrate .sdb files of Thunderbird client to Outlook client. I have been working with Thunderbird from last few years and I created a subfolder in it. All these folders contain my important files. Now, I have moved to the Outlook email client and I want to move these subfolders into Outlook. Is there an easy method to export Thunderbird .sdb files into Outlook?

You can convert .sdb files from Thunderbird to Outlook using the manual methods. Follow the given steps –

  • Extract Thunderbird emails into EML format
  • Move EML files to Outlook Express
  • Import emails from Outlook Express to Outlook

The above discussed solution seems to be lengthy so I don’t find it effective. Is there any other easy method available that can migrate Thunderbird subfolders into Outlook client?

Magalie

You can use a Gmail account and add it to your Thunderbird client and later on configure that Gmail account to Outlook.
